Murvell McMurry Mem. Schol. Endowment

Murvell McMurry was a tireless champion for education. He was blessed to earn a living doing what he loved most – serving as a passionate advocate for students' academic achievement and lifelong success. Mr. McMurry worked at Metropolitan Community College for nearly 30 years prior to retiring in 2011 as the Lead Counselor at the Penn Valley campus. Mr. McMurry was also a proud graduate of Central High School, class of 1967. Therefore, we honor Mr. McMurry's legacy with this scholarship.
