Fire Service Instructor I - May 20, 2024 (60562)

This course will be a combination of in class and online learning.

Date: May 20, 2024, mandatory
Time (in-person): 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. CST
Additional Time: 40 hrs. online and scheduled individually in person between May 21 & July 15, 2024
Location: MCC-Blue River campus
Cost: $450.00 (includes texbook and all required course materials)

Course description: This course will show students how to prepare instructional aids and evaluation tools, review and adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students, groups and the AHJ. Students will also learn how to organize the teaching environment to maximize the learning experience and provide a safe learning environment.

This course is for currently employed Fire Fighters, not a beginner course.
