Course description:This course covers the requirements of the OSHA Electrical Standards, NFPA 70[NEC], NFPA 70B and NFPA 70E.  Students will learn the requirements for working safety around electrical equipment.  In addition, the course covers the requirements for the development of an effective “Electrical Safety Program.” This course topics include single and three-phase systems, cord and plug-connection, fixed equipment, grounding, ground fault circuit interrupters, and safety-related work practices.
